Mt Trashmore 50th Anniversary

July 2023 marks Mount Trashmore’s 50th anniversary and to mark the occasion you can join a FREE walking tour to discover some fun facts and history about the mountain!

Mount TRASH Tour: Inspired by the 50th anniversary of the park’s opening, a VB Parks and Recreation history buff will lead you on a tour that includes a climb to the top of the mountain. You’ll discover how and why the mountain was created and the important ecological role that this first-of-its-kind park holds. You’ll also learn about the park’s interesting recreational history and what makes it a place where community grows! Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • July 26, 2023 at 7pm
