Military and First Responder Spouses, this great FREE online event is back again in 2024 and I wanted to be sure to share it with you!

The life of a Military Family can be stressful… deployments, new orders, another PCS, new schools, new housing, new doctors, having to find your new support system and list people you just met as emergency contacts (anyone else?) not to mention figuring out what there is to DO in a new location – hopefully MyActiveChild.com helps a bit with that issue in Hampton Roads!

With all of the things we military spouses have on our minds and hearts, it can be hard to keep perspective and to remember how important it is to take the time to invest in ourselves. If we aren’t caring for ourselves, it makes it so much harder to care for others who rely on us.

As I have mentioned before when promoting this event, self-care is certainly something I struggle with every year. The past few years have challenged our family with COVID, unexpected health issues, the death of a close family member, and yet another PCS. The focus of the 2024 theme of “Rediscover You” is timely and needed. I plan to work through the obstacles that will inevitably pop up while making a plan for self-care that works for me, and our crazy family schedule.

I have gotten so much out of previous Independent Wellness Summits and I am so excited for this one!

Here are the details:

Who: Registration is open to ALL military and first responder spouses from every service branch (Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, and Navy). All past, present, and future service spouses are welcome – Active, National Guard, Reserve, Veterans, and Retired.

When: The Summit begins on Monday, March 7 and ends Saturday, March 11, 2022. Listen to this virtual summit on your time; no travel, no childcare, and no missed work required!

Where:  A virtual anytime, anywhere retreat, accessible on your terms! Join us during a quiet moment to yourself, during chores or exercise, even from the car. Join us indoors or outdoors from anywhere in the world, any time of day you want! Recordings are available starting the week of the event until the week after (March 7-20, 2022) for our FREE General Admission participants. The All-Access and VIP participants will be able to download all recordings for unlimited listening FOREVER.
