May Day Celebration at the Hermitage Museum & Gardens

Join the Hermitage Collective to welcome the warm weather and enjoy a day full of traditional, spring-inspired activities!

Where: Hermitage Museum & Gardens 7637 North Shore Road Norfolk, VA 23505

When: Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 12-3pm. This event is rain or shine and free to all

Cost: Free to everyone – guests are encouraged to consider a donation at the door

Enjoy special activities from:
Virginia MOCA will be leading a fun art activity
Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center & their Waggin’ Wheels mobile adoption unit
Norfolk Master Gardeners will host a microgreens workshop where you can take home your very own plant
Lil Truck of Tools will be there to show kids how to create safely with power tools

Also featuring:

  • A May Pole!
  • Tunes by DJ Ryan Thomas
  • Selfie Spot Scavenger Hunt
  • Lawn Games
  • Flower & Art Activities
  • Museum & Garden Tours

Food and drink will be available for purchase.  *Please note that there will be no on-site parking.  Guests are invited to park throughout the neighborhood.
