KayaXpedition 2022

KayaXpedition Chesapeake is back for 2022!

Where: Oak Grove Lake Park, Chesapeake VA

When: Saturday & Sunday, June 11-12, 2022 from 10am-4pm

Saturday, June 11

  • 8:30 – 10am – Adaptive Water Sports (Advance registration required, call 757-382-1328 for more information)
  • 9 – 11am – Guided Nature & Magic Door Tour (No registration required)
  • 10am – 2pm – Paddleboard Yoga Demos (Ages 18+, on-site registration day of event)
  • 10am – 4pm – Paddle Your Way (Use theirs or bring your own)

Sunday, June 12

  • 10am- 4pm – Paddle Your Way (Use theirs or bring your own)
  • 11am – 3pm – Paddleboard Yoga Demos (Ages 18+, on-site registration day of event

Cost: FREE

  • Bring your own Kayak, Canoe or SUP (and PFD) OR
  • Kayaks or Canoe – 30 minute rental sessions – FREE. (On-site registration required, limited availability)

Description: The annual KayaXpedition, a kayaking and canoeing event, is back in Chesapeake this year! There’s something for everyone including music, food trucks, kayaks and canoes. Bring your own kayak/canoe/SUP or rent a kayak/canoe from Parks, Recreation and Tourism.
