Where: Mary Jackson Neighborhood Center, Hampton VA

When: March 6 – June 8, meeting 2x a week from 5-8:15pm

Description: The Hopeful Hampton Ambassador program is a 12-week initiative for local youth aged 16-19 to earn money and raise awareness about the impact of youth violence.  Participants will engage in mindfulness activities, event planning, and group discussions and will receive meals, transportation, recreational access, and a weekly stipend upon program completion.

To Apply: You must be a Hampton student age 16-19, with the application deadline of Feb. 20, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Please submit a completed application and photo release form to Latiesha D. Handie at [email protected].
