Updated Volunteer List from VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads

Every year, VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads releases the “Youth VOLUNTEER Opportunity” list for volunteers under the age of 18 in Hampton Roads. This year, many organizations have altered their volunteer policies and there are more opportunities than ever for volunteers of young ages – especially those that volunteer with a chaperone. As stated in previous posts, VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads encourages parents to volunteer alongside their child to lead by example.

The following nonprofit organizations have volunteer opportunities for youth in Hampton Roads. The ages listed indicate the minimum age accepted for volunteers to participate without an adult. All entries with stars (*) indicate that youth can volunteer with adult supervision. For more information about volunteering, call the nonprofit directly.

For additional volunteer opportunities, call VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads at (757) 624-2400 or visit our website at www.volunteerhr.org.
