Girls Who Code – Free Summer Programs – Final Week to Apply!
Such a valuable program for girls! Girls Who Code is currently enrolling for BOTH of their summer programs. The early decision deadline is February 26, 2025. The regular decision deadline is April 11, 2025.

Description: Choose from a 2-week immersion program or a 6-week self-paced experience that will allow you to meet other students and learn in the style that works best for you! All high school students who identify as girls or non-binary can apply, and no prior computer science experience is required.
The two-week Summer Immersion Program (SIP) In the two-week Summer Immersion Program (SIP), high school students attend live, virtual classes sponsored by industry-leading companies. SIP students dive into the tech world and game design, covering concepts ranging from beginner to intermediate computer science, the step-by-step game design process, and the basics of UX design.
2 weeks of live virtual classes, Monday through Friday, with Partner Events and optional Student Hours
- SIP Round 1: July 7-July 18
- SIP Round 2: July 28-August 8
- Pathways: June 30-August 8
Pathways: The six-week Self-Paced Program – In Pathways, high school students can explore web development, cybersecurity, data science, and artificial intelligence. Participants work at their own pace to learn coding languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python, have the opportunity to build community with other students, and hear from industry-leading companies at live events.
