Free Traveling Exhibit at Nauticus

For a limited time, located in the lobby at Nauticus, a new FREE traveling exhibition, Real People, Real Climate, Real Changes.
Where: Nauticus (lobby only) One Waterside Drive, Norfolk, VA 23510
When: September 2 – October 20, 2023. Nauticus is open from 10am to 5pm Tuesday – Saturdays, and 12 to 5pm on Sundays. Closed on Mondays.
Cost: Free and open to the public (entry to additional Nauticus exhibits requires paid admission)
Description:Â This family-friendly, interactive exhibition features nine panels and two interactive tables and will be enhanced during its run by additional programs and events held by Nauticus educators.
The exhibition, developed by the National Center for Atmospheric Research and the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research’s Center for Science Education, will demonstrate, with scientific evidence and stories from various impacted communities, how the climate is changing and impacting real people — from Midwest farmers to coastal residents. The exhibition also offers solutions that others have implemented and invites visitors to get ideas on how to take action to help address climate change.
