Free Shakespeare in the Grove! Othello!

It doesn’t get much better than FREE Shakespeare under the stars! This is a great family event, in its 28th year! Don’t forget lawn chairs/blanket, and bug repellent.

What: Shakespeare’s Othello

When: Wednesday, June 25 – Sunday, June 29, 2025 at 8 pm (weather permitting)

Where: Grove Theater TCC Chesapeake 1428 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, Virginia 23322

Cost: FREE and open to the public (no tickets needed)

Description:  Tidewater Community College and the Chesapeake Fine Arts Commission is proud to present the 28th anniversary of Shakespeare in the Grove and our production of Othello!

Othello runs from June 25th-29th at 8 PM, weather permitting, on the Grove stage located on the Chesapeake Campus, located at 1428 Cedar Road.
This is a free event open to the public of all ages. Bring your chair, bug spray, and a picnic basket and enjoy an evening under the stars as we celebrate 28 years of Shakespeare in the Grove!
