Earth Day Party at Norfolk Botanical Garden

Another great Earth Day event happening this weekend!

Norfolk Botanical Garden is hosting an Earth Day Party in the World of Wonders (WOW) Children’s Adventure Garden on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 10am-5pm.

This event is free with Garden Admission. Current admission rates can be found by clicking HERE.

The WOW Gardens will feature activity stations with interactive opportunities for families to learn about plants together and learn about the important role plants play in nature and in our lives. Come learn about protecting plants, wildlife and discover more about

You will find activity stations throughout WOW will encourage hands-on discovery of nature related themes, cultivate artistic endeavors, and inspire action to protect plants and wildlife. Station topics include: Plants and People, Edible Plants, Be Kind to Animals, Trees are TREEmendous, Recycled Art and Recyling Games.

A schedule of all events for the day will be available at the entrance to the WOW Garden.
