“Boogeyman Blues-A Christie from Ohio Mystery”
- Saturday October 18, 2025 11am and 2pm
- Saturday October 25, 2025 11am and 2pm
Our favorite detective, Christie Agatha, cannot sleep. Seeing as how she and her sidekick, The Amazing Mister Mist (stuffed animal extraordinaire), need their rest to solve the world’s biggest mysteries, this poses quite the problem!
With the help of The Sandman and other characters she encounters under the bed, Christie embarks on a journey unlike anyone in the waking world has ever seen. Unfortunately, meeting The Boogeyman may be the least of Christie’s worries! This production is a fun romp through the imagination, and a perfect seasonal treat for the whole family. Appropriate for all ages, best enjoyed by those 5 and up.
- Friday December 26, 2025 11am and 2pm
- Saturday December 27, 2025 11am and 2pm
You’re invited to the Woods for a holiday tea at Uncle Wiggily’s house… only Uncle Wiggily is the last to know! In order to keep you entertained, the old rabbit gentleman will have to get everyone’s help to put on the biggest production the forest has ever seen: Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”!
You’ll meet Nurse Jane Fuzzy Wuzzy the muskrat housekeeper, Jumpo Kinkytail the Monkey, Doctor Possum (the possum), and a slew of madcap characters as they portray the quintessential Christmas tale… with just a few minor changes! With enduring themes of love, generosity, and second chances, there’s no better way to celebrate the season than with Uncle Wiggily and his forest friends in CTHR’s beloved adaptation. A charming and original spin on the classic, and great holiday fun for the entire family.
“Chasing Mother Goose”
- Saturday February 28, 2026 11am and 2pm
- Saturday March 7, 2026 11am and 2pm
The venerable poet Mother Goose currently presides over a library that houses every piece of literature in existence. Day and night she does her best to keep order and ensure peace among the shelves. But even under her no-nonsense watch, the books have a tendency to get out of hand. On a seemingly quiet night, the mad Hatter from Wonderland shows up, and when a copy of Moby Dick is returned with pages missing, Captain Ahab also arrives – to wreak vengeance on the creature that took his leg!
Mother Goose and the Hatter have no choice but to comb the other books for Ahab’s missing pages and put him back together before the library opens in the morning, all the while fleeing the amnesic Ahab on his misguided mission! This hilariously creative play, rich with audience interaction, literary celebrities, and touching moments, will delight audiences of all ages.
“Around the World in Eighty Days”
- Saturday, April 25, 2026 11am and 2pm
- Saturday May 2, 2026 11am and 2pm
Adventure! Excitement! Improv! Adventure! We invite you to join our two explorers, Phileas Fogg and Jean Passepartout, as they attempt to win a race across the globe. But to make this the trip of a lifetime, the explorers will need your help. Will Jean and Phileas make it around the world on schedule, or will their hilarious antics slow them down?
