Mark your calendars to check out the CAPITAN MIRANDA as the Uruguayan Navy’s sail training tall ship visits Norfolk the first week in July!

Where: Otter Berth/Waterside, 333 Waterside Drive, Norfolk VA

When: The CAPITAN MIRANDA will arrive Tuesday, July 2 at 11am, and will be in Norfolk until 10am on Friday, July 5, 2024.

Cost: Ship tours are free and open to the public during the following dates/times:

  • Wednesday, July 3, 2024 3pm – 7pm
  • Thursday, July 4, 2024 10am – 7pm

Description: The Uruguayan Navy’s sail training tall ship CAPITAN MIRANDA will return to Norfolk and offer FREE public tours. Arriving on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, the 205’ schooner-style ship will dock at Otter Berth next to the Waterside District on the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront.

The ship’s visit will correspond with the 4th of July Great American Picnic & Fireworks taking place in Town Point Park from 5-10 pm on Thursday, July 4, 2024. For updates & Information: Click Here
