YVCHR Volunteer Project – Special Olympics Bowling Session 3 at Bowlero York (Yorktown)

Youth volunteers will bowl with Special Olympians from January 7th to February 25th.
Location: Bowlero Yorktown —formerly AMF York Lanes
Details: Youth volunteers will be assigned to a lane at Bowlero York (formerly AMF York Lanes), where they’ll become “bowling buddies” with athletes who have special needs. We ask all who sign up to commit to every Wednesday through February 25th (unless there are extenuating circumstances). Bowling ball and shoes will be provided. Basic knowledge of bowling is recommended, but emphasis will be on positive and supportive interpersonal skills.
Youth needed: 8
Special Notes: Must be at least 13 yrs old. This is an ongoing commitment and requires participation every Wednesday from January 7th – February 25th; please only register if you can commit to attending weekly.
