YVCHR Volunteer Project – Peninsula Rescue Mission (Newport News)

Help us serve a meal to some gentlemen in need.
Location: Peninsula Rescue Mission
Details: Youth will set up the dining room for dinner, serve a prepared meal for the current residents of PRM and then wash dishes and clean up the dining room after the meal has been finished.
Youth needed: 5
Special Considerations: Youth must be at least 16 in order to sign up for the project. An electronic waiver for PRM will need to be completed for new PRM volunteers. Masks are optional for this project and there is a dress code for this project (closed toe shoes and no shorts).
Organization being served: Peninsula Rescue Mission’s philosophy is to provide help with the material (food, shelter, shower, etc.) and the spiritual needs of the gentlemen who are in need of assistance.
