YVCHR Volunteer Project – Peninsula Rescue Mission (Newport News)

Help us serve a meal to some gentlemen in need.
Location: Peninsula Rescue Mission
Details: Youth will set up the dining room for dinner, serve a prepared meal for the current residents of PRM and then wash dishes and clean up the dining room after the meal has been finished.
Youth needed: 5
Special Considerations: Youth must be at least 16 in order to sign up for the project. An electronic waiver for PRM will need to be completed for new PRM volunteers. There is a dress code for this project (closed toe athletic shoes, no tight clothing and no shorts).
Organization being served: Peninsula Rescue Mission’s philosophy is to provide help with the material (food, shelter, shower, etc.) and the spiritual needs of the gentlemen who are in need of assistance.
