YVCHR Volunteer Project – Mural Mosaic Monday (Newport News)

Location: YVCHR Office
Details: Youth will paint the “story” of how they use their unique gifts and talents to strengthen and uplift the Newport News community. These pictorial representations will be done on a ceramic tile that will then be used to create a larger mural mosaic art installation celebrating the positive impact of youth volunteerism on Newport News. We are excited to announce that we will also have a guest artist or two for this workshop. Youth from Newport News will get registration preference for this particular project and youth can only participate in this project one time.
Youth needed: 15
Special Considerations: Artistic experience is not required just a willingness to create, listen, and be part of something meaningful.
