YVCHR Volunteer Project – Beads of Hope at PRM Women’s Ministry (Newport News)

Encouragement, one bead at a time.
Location: Peninsula Rescue Mission Women’s Ministry
Details: Youth will be making encouraging beaded bracelets alongside the women of the Peninsula Rescue Mission’s NEW Women’s Ministry. Some bracelets will stay at the mission and others will be donated to individuals needing some encouragement.
Youth Needed: 6
Special Considerations: Youth must be at least 12 years old AND female in order to sign up for the project. An electronic waiver for PRM will need to be completed prior to serving.
Organization Supported: Peninsula Rescue Mission’s philosophy is to provide help with the material (food, shelter, shower, etc.) and the spiritual needs of men and women who are in need of assistance.
