Virtual Program with the Cape Henry Lighthouse: Fresnel Lens Virtual Program (Online)

Be introduced to the man who created the lens that changed navigation, Augustin Jean Fresnel, a French engineer. View photos of the New Cape Henry Lighthouse’s First Order Fresnel Lens and compare to others lens of different sizes. This program will dig into the importance of lighthouse mechanics.
