The Bobby BlackHat Birthday Bash at Ferguson Center (Newport News)

Bobby BlackHat is an award-winning recording artist, songwriter, harmonica player, and Virginia’s “Blues Ambassador.” To celebrate his birthday, Bobby has curated an incredible roster of artists for what promises to be an unforgettable evening of entertainment.
Pre-show entertainment will start in the lobby at 5 p.m., featuring 14-year-old Chase Davidson, a keyboardist, vocalist, and harmonica player, who mesmerizes audiences with his powerful, old-soul delivery of classic tunes.
Additional guest artists will include performances by the band, Zinia, featuring Bobby’s daughter Maya Walters on vocals, a set by Daniel “Mojo” Parker, Bobby’s daughter Akeylah Simone, and, of course, the Bobby BlackHat Band with special guests Will “Dirty Red” Garrett, J.D. Silvia, and Jackie Scott. Get ready for a blues blowout!
