Summer Fishing Clinics: Freshwater at Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge (Virginia Beach)

Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge is excited to host children’s fishing clinics this summer with the Virginia Beach Angers, Tidewater Anglers and friends. All bait and tackle are provided; participants should bring water, hats and snacks. Parents must stay for the duration of these clinics.
Registration is required. Surf Fishing Clinics: The minimum age for these programs is 7 years old. Parents are active participants as well! Come ready to learn and help your child as they learn how to cast and reel in long surf fishing rods. Freshwater Clinics: The minimum age for these programs is 5 years old. Rods will be available for the children who are registered for the program. There is no charge for these programs but there is a $5.00/vehicle entrance fee to the wildlife refuge. |
