Summer Blast Off (Chesapeake)

Time: 12:00pm – 5pm
– Arrive BEFORE our start time to have all of your gear ready to go as we will announce the overview of rules as close to 12:30pm as possible.
– Most games will be played as two back-to-back rounds. Make sure to have enough ammo to last through two rounds or be prepared to scavenge.
Cost: FREE
– However, donating a pack of new short darts to the community ammo pool is most welcomed.

Following ALL rules is required to participate.
Admin have absolute authority to ask anyone to leave if rules are not followed.

>> Recommended Age Minimum: 12 years old / 8th Grade
>> FPS Cap: 250 FPS (200 for flywheel)
– All rounds of play will have a suggested minimum of 200 FPS and a cap of 250 FPS as this is, after all, Competitive!
>> Signing waivers required to participate.
>> Eye protection required to participate.
>> Actively assisting with dart sweeps required to participate.
– You can be asked to leave if you do not participate in dart sweeps.
>> Use proper verbiage.
– Blasters not guns
– Darts not bullets
– Tagged not shot/killed
>> Call out if you have been tagged and raise your blaster to indicate you’ve been tagged.
– If someone calls out that you’ve been tagged, you’ve been tagged; NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
>> We have a community pool of dart ammo for use by everyone.
– If you bring your own ammo, be aware that you are not guaranteed to get it all back and the ammo will be added to the community ammo pool.
>> Please ask the owner of a blaster before picking up and/or using said blaster.
– If you’re allowed to borrow a blaster, treat it as if it were your own. When you’re done with the blaster, return it directly to its owner.

– While members have generously provided refreshments for everyone at previous events, it is ultimately YOUR responsibility to bring water for your own consumption.
