SRP Kick Off: Unearth a Story on the Patio at Tabb Library (Yorktown)

June 25 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Get ready to stomp, roar, and play because its time to Unearth a Story at Tabb Library! Join us for a dino-sized kickoff to our Summer Reading Program, packed with fun for the whole family.

On Thursday, June 25, from 5:30–7:30 PM, head straight to the patio where the real adventure begins! Kids can explore a variety of toys, games, and hands-on activities.

The fun doesn’t stop there! Inside the library, you’ll find creative crafts, more games, and exciting activities throughout the building. Visit the Youth Services room for kid-friendly crafts, and don’t miss Balloon Creatures by Susan in the program room. Watch as amazing creations come to life!

In the meeting room, enjoy music from the Doorway Singers, take a break with simple puzzles, and relax with your family in a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Feeling hungry? Food trucks will be on site, so grab a tasty treat and bring it inside while you enjoy the festivities.

Before you go, be sure to sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge and start your own story-filled adventure—who knows what you’ll discover!

This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop-offs will not be permitted.
