Sounds of Summer Concert Series with BrassWind at Riverwalk Landing (Yorktown)

Great music? Check! Great venue? Check! Great crowd? Check! The Sounds of Summer Concert Series is the ideal way to spend your Thursday evening! Join us all summer long for free outdoor concerts by the beautiful York River.
Hampton Roads’ premier horn and party band, BrassWind spans the scope of music with a calculated rhythm section, captivating vocalists, and high-octane brass! Since 2018, their set list has grown making them the most eclectic party band around. BrassWind is composed of retired/active-duty military members and teachers. From Motown to modern hits, BrassWind is known for their phenomenal rhythm section paired with real horns and exceptional vocals!

Before the entertainment begins, visitors are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy dinner or dessert at any of Historic Yorktown’s waterfront restaurants including Water Street Grille, Carrot Tree, Umi Sushi, Ben & Jerry’s, and Yorktown Pub.

Guests are permitted to bring their own blankets, chairs, and small coolers. No tables, umbrellas, or tents are allowed. There will be a dance floor, friendly games of corn hole, and tasty, to-go meals from rotating food trucks available for purchase.

Free parking is available at designated public parking lots throughout town, including York Hall, York-Poquoson Courthouse, and County Administration Building. The complimentary, wheelchair-accessible Yorktown Trolley runs from 5 to 9:30 p.m. during every concert with a modified route that still includes some of the stops on the outskirts of town.
