Sensory Friendly Morning at Virginia Aquarium (Virginia Beach)

Families that have members with disabilities are invited to visit the Aquarium in a calm, comfortable, sensory-friendly environment. Explore at your own pace before we open the doors to the public. Tickets or reservations are required.
One caretaker will be admitted at no charge if they are working with a guest who is visiting the Aquarium. A caretaker is defined as a required medical attendant without whom the guest could not tour the Aquarium, and the guest may request an additional caretaker be admitted at 50% of the regular admission.
Please note that our sensory-friendly accommodations are available in the North Building exhibit galleries. Guests to this event are invited to explore the South Building when it opens to the public at 9:00am.
