Second Sundays Children’s Art Classes- Needle Felting at On the Hill Gallery (Yorktown)

Class time: 1:00 pm -3:00 pm
Cost and registration: $20 per student
Classes will address different learning styles and ages.
Ages 7 and up
Class limit of 10 students
Learn the art of needle felting! Students can choose from a variety of adorable forest friends to create in 3-D using colorful wool roving and felting needles.
(Parents, safely while using the felting needles will be covering before we begin)
We start with basic needling techniques learning to shape the creature’s body legs, and head. Attaching the lead and legs to the body is followed by creating fur (or feather-like) details and facial features with the roving.
The learned skills can easily be used to create other animals and shapes.
