‘Salamander Saturday’ at Newport News Park Discovery Center (Newport News)

Over 50 species of salamanders are known to live throughout the commonwealth in all manner of places – perhaps even in your own backyard! If you’d like to know more about these fascinating amphibians – such as their remarkable healing abilities, voracious appetites, and unusual adaptations – then wiggle your way down to the Discovery Center to find out more!
Join us Saturday, May 9th at 11 AM and 2 PM for a ‘Salamander Saturday’! Taking place at the Discovery Center located in Newport News Park.
Age Recommendation: All Ages
