Sail250 Walking Tours of South Church Street (Smithfield)

In conjunction with the Sail250 maritime festival of tall ships and military ships to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the United States, Smithfield will host several ships on the Pagan River. In addition to the myriad of special events affiliated with this gathering, the Isle of Wight County Museum will host walking tours along Church Street to showcase Smithfield’s history, some of the homes on the route, their ties to the town’s development and some of Smithfield’s beautiful architectural styles and features.
