Quilting: Paper Piecing with Mel at 757 Creative Reuse Center (Norfolk)

In this class we’ll learn the basics of English paper piecing a quilt using a simple shape like a diamond or hexagon. We will provide the paper patterns. Participants should bring fabric shears and any special fabric you may want to use (A lightweight cotton). We’ll have fabric available for use if you don’t have any already. You may choose to make a quilted top of your own or we can combine our pieces to make a community quilt at a later date.

This class is for ages 16+ wiht adult supervison. No experience necessary.

NOTE: Reduced price member tickets are for folks with a monthly or yearly subscription membership to the 757 Creative ReUse Center. If you’d like to start your membership online, click here. If you reserve a reduced ticket without a membership, your reservation will be canceled, or you will be asked to pay the difference in ticket price when you come in for class.

We all put a lot of time and effort into creating these classes for you and cultivating an enjoyable and fun learning experience. With that in mind these classes are most suited for groups so we encurange you to register with a friend, or a few! A class minimum of 2 is required. Any classes with only one registered participant will be cancled 24-hours before the class. Refunds will be issued and you will be contacted by email and phone.

Please include a phone number along with your email, so we have your contact information in the event a class must be rescheduled or cancled.

Folks who miss multiple classes without notice will be prevented from registering for future classes. If you are not able to attend a class you have registered for please call us and let us know.
