NSU Homecoming Parade (Norfolk)

Behold! It’s homecoming weekend for Norfolk State University!
Plan your travel and parking arrangements in advance!
The parade steps off bright and early at 8AM, bringing all the Spartan spirit, bands, floats, and fabulousness you can handle!
Ms. Curvy Supreme International will be making a royal appearance! So come wave, smile, and celebrate all the beauty, pride, and excellence that NSU stands for!
Bring your chairs, your family, your energy, and let’s make it a morning to remember
Here’s what you need to know:
Parade steps off Saturday, Oct. 25 at 8 a.m. from Booker T. Washington High SchoolThe parade will begin at Booker T. Washington High School at Park Avenue and Virginia Beach Boulevard. It will move east on Virginia Beach Boulevard. It will then make a right turn on Merrimac Avenue, heading south; right on Corprew Avenue, heading west; and will conclude near Corprew and Park Avenues, at Gate 4. The Viewing Stand will be in front of the NSU Police Building, which is located on Corprew Avenue.
FREE parking at MacArthur South & North Garages (starts at 7 a.m. for the parade)
FREE HRT light rail rides (use light rail for the parade!)
NSU shuttles available from MacArthur South Garage for the game only (beginning 2 hours before kickoff)
Have your Game Day Ticket prior to entering campus
Do not park along the parade route (E. Virginia Beach Blvd. at Park Ave. → Merrimac Market → Corprew Ave. → NSU Gate 4)
