Nosferatu: A Silent Film with Live Organ at Trinity Church (Portsmouth)

October 25, 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Nosferatu: A Silent Film with Live Organ Music
Friday, October 25 | Trinity Episcopal Church
Step into the haunting world of F. W. Murnau’s Nosferatu (1922), one of cinema’s earliest and most chilling vampire tales.
Experience this silent classic the way it was meant to be seen — on the big screen with live organ music.
The evening begins at 6 PM in Trinity’s churchyard with heavy hors d’oeuvres. The film starts at 7 PM inside the church, accompanied by internationally acclaimed organist Donnie Rankin.
Tickets: $35 for adults | $10 for under 21
About Donnie Rankin:
Raised in Ravenna, Ohio, Donnie’s love of music began early with family and the sounds of the Wurlitzer at Akron’s Civic Theatre. By age 18 he had won the American Theatre Organ Society’s Young Theatre Organist Competition, and in 2023 he was named ATOS Organist of the Year. He has performed across the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, with broadcasts on NPR and BBC 2, and continues to serve as organist for Cleveland’s Playhouse Square and the Akron Civic Theatre.
