Newport News Twilight Criterium Kids Zone (Newport News)

The adult races aren’t the only thing expanding for 2026! The kid’s will have their own FREE multi-activity event on Saturday, April 11th at the Newport News Twilight Criterium!
Introducing the @weewheel Wee Tour of Newport News presented by @gymnastics.inc.hampton and Ninja Zone. It will feature six unique activities including a bike safety check, an event passport creation station, road chalk drawing meant to cheer on the adults, the kid’s race on the NNTC course, a timed bike obstacle course, and a mini time trial. The activities will all take place on and around the adult race course, and every kid gets a prize! The event is limited to kids 2-10 years of age.
But that’s not all, our little riders once again have the chance to win free kids bikes via a raffle during the event. We recommend families stick around after the kids events to visit the vendor expo, play bike race bingo, grab food from @blzntacos and other great local food trucks, and watch some of the best bicycle racing in the US.
