Nature Academy – Slugs & Snails at Chesapeake Arboretum (Chesapeake)

$10Gastropods galore! We will discuss our slimy friends slugs and snails. Then we will hike a trail to look for snails, play a game, and finish with a fun craft. $10 per child.
Nature Academy in Nature’s Classroom is a monthly outdoor class for kids ages 5 through 12 at the Chesapeake Arboretum. Since 2018, the class has educated youth on our native plants and animals, while also instilling a sense of stewardship for our local environment. The classes take place on the fourth Thursday of every month from Spring to Fall, with each class consisting of a new, stand-alone topic.
