First Responders, local nonprofits & so much moreLast year, as many as 8,500 of you showed up. WAVY-10 was there all evening filming. We ran out of food in the first two hours — because Suffolk shows up like THAT. See some of the pictures here.
This event began 13 years ago in a parking lot at Sentara Obici Hospital. Three neighborhoods — Applewood, Burnett’s Mill, and Hillpoint Farms — decided to pool their efforts and build something bigger than any one neighborhood could do alone. You’ve made it something Suffolk can be truly proud of.
