Mobile Food Pantry at Heritage Park & Joel C. Bradshaw Fairgrounds (Windsor)

The Isle of Wight County Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce its partnership with the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore to bring a monthly Mobile Pantry to Heritage Park & Joel C. Bradshaw Fairgrounds, located at 21311 Courthouse Highway, Windsor, VA 23487.
Beginning Friday, September 4, 2026, the Mobile Pantry will provide free groceries to individuals and families on the first Friday of every month from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Park.
The Foodbank’s Mobile Pantry program delivers nutritious food directly to underserved communities and areas with limited access to healthy groceries. Each distribution includes an assortment of fresh produce, pantry staples, and other essential food items, helping ensure that residents have convenient access to nutritious food close to home.
To help ensure a safe and efficient distribution, participants are asked to follow these guidelines:
• Arrive with an empty trunk or cargo area ready for food loading.
• Remain in your vehicle, place it in park, and end all phone calls while in the distribution line.
• Wait until volunteers direct you to move forward.
• Food is distributed while supplies last.
Vehicles should enter Heritage Park through the southern (Windsor) entrance and follow Henry H. Bradby Trail to the designated distribution site.
