Military Families: First Thursday Monthly Timed Swim Event (Norfolk)

NAVSTA Norfolk MWR Aquatics is offering monthly time swim events at FRP-12 Pool. Show up any time anytime between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month to participate. Participants can choose to swim a 50-meter freestyle swim and/or a 450-meter swim (any stroke).
Once participants arrive at the pool, speak to the lifeguards on deck, fill out the registration form, coordinate getting timed, record time on your registration form, and turn in to the lifeguard for submission for that month. Once all participants have submitted their times, we will tally who swam the fastest time for each event. Leading times and swimmers will be added to our leaderboard for the month. This is open to all eligible patrons.
