Military: Car Show at Norfolk Naval Exchange (Norfolk)

September 6 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Rev your engines and shine up your chrome for a dazzling car show. Join NAVSTA Norfolk MWR Community Recreation on Sunday, September 6 from noon to 4 PM at the NEX Parking Lot. Come and check out your dream cars. We will have a live DJ, food trucks, photobooths, and more. This is a family friendly event and is free and open to all eligible patrons. Preregistration is required for anyone who would like to enter their vehicle into the car show. The cost to enter your vehicle is $5 per car.

Registration to enter your vehicle in the Car Show will open soon.

Cars will be judged on 5 different categories:  

  1. General Appearance – first impression, how the car looks upon walking up to it, how well cared for the car appears to be
  2. Exterior – chrome accent, wheel, custom graphics, rust, etc.
  3. Interior – quality of interior of the car, carpet, dash, panel, seats, etc.
  4. Details – trim pieces, missing decals or badges, scratched in the paint or rims, etc.
  5. Bonus Points (up to 5) – display and presentation oof the car, crowd appeal

  3. Best Muscle Car
  4. Best Paint
  5. Best Off-Road/Jeep/4×4
  6. Best Club Representation
  7. Crowd Favorite
  8. Best Themed Vehicle
  9. Sponsor’s Choice
  10. Best European
  11. Best JDM
  12. Best Antique
  13. Best Display
  14. Best Hot Rod
  15. Best Low Rider
  16. Best Female-Owned
  17. Best Veteran Owned
  18. Best Interior
  19. Best Corvette
  20. Best Chevrolet
  21. Best Honda
