Join us for a stroller-friendly nature walk and messy muddy play date at Lake Lawson/Lake Smith! Explore, play, and connect outdoors.
Join Neptune’s Forest and The Mom Walk Co. Norfolk for a morning of fresh air, connection, and outdoor adventure!
We’ll begin with a relaxed, stroller-friendly nature walk through the beautiful trails at Lake Lawson/Lake Smith Natural Area before settling into a Messy Muddy Play Date where little ones can explore, create, and play.
Children will enjoy open-ended, nature-inspired activities including:
🌱 Mud kitchen play
💧 Water and sensory play
🎨 Process art
🌿 Nature exploration
🏃 Gross motor challenges
This event is designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, and connection while giving parents an opportunity to meet other local families in a welcoming outdoor setting.
What to Bring
• Clothes that can get dirty and wet
• Closed-toe shoes or water shoes
• A towel and a change of clothes for your child
• Water bottles and any snacks your family may need
• Sunscreen and bug spray if desired
