Dive into a mer-magical night at the Virginia Aquarium! Meet mermaids and come face-to-face with a mermaid or merman swimming in an Aquarium. Enjoy an evening of special encounters and photo opportunities during this immersive mystical night for families.
Upgrade with a Behind-the-Scenes Tour
- $75 to attend both the event and behind-the-scenes tour.
- Tours nightly at 6:45pm & 7:45pm.
Experience all the fun of Mermaids with an added, exclusive look at how the mermaid magic comes to life. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes mermaid experience to privately meet and interact with the diving mermaids after their swim. Admission to Mermaids is included in the cost of the behind-the-scenes tour.
- Participants must be at least 8 years old
- Participants must be at least 48″ tall
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying, participating adult (age 18+)
- Participants must be able to navigate stairs
- The behind-the-scenes tour runs approximately 45 minutes.
