Let’s go Fishing! with Divine Little Crafters (Norfolk)

March 6 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Free Crafting class for ages 2-6 that meet on a weekly basis.
In this fun and hands-on lesson, kids will create their own colorful fish and go fishing in a playful game that brings imagination to life. Whether they’ve fished before or not, this activity is full of excitement and wonder, helping little ones explore the world around them while building fine motor skills through creative play.

Come hang out for an hour and enjoy making a craft with your kiddo!

Research shows that early exposure to music aids intellectual, social, emotional, language, literacy, and numeracy development. Music supports school readiness, soothes children, and lifts their spirits. In this lesson, we explore various sounds and rhythms, and the kids get to take a cool shaker home!

Each week, you and your child will:
Create a take-home craft that is STEAM-based and age-appropriate
Explore monthly themes that build curiosity, creativity, and confidence
Learn through hands-on play, not pressure or perfection
Spend intentional time together in a calm, welcoming environment
???? What parents and children receive from this class
Meaningful one-on-one bonding time with your child
Early exposure to STEAM concepts through play and exploration
Development of fine motor skills, problem-solving, and imagination
A gentle introduction to group settings, routines, and social skills
Opportunities to build relationships with other parents who value connection
A space where children are encouraged to create freely, not “do it right”
This class supports both the child’s development and the parent’s presence.
???? What this class is not
This is not a drop-off babysitting service
This is not an hour to sit in the corner on your phone
Your presence matters here. You are part of the experience.
This class is about slowing down.
About creating together.
About building foundations—not just crafts.
I’m so grateful to be able to bring this vision back to life and share it with families who value intention, creativity, and community.
If this speaks to your heart, I’d love for you and your little one to join us.
