As the season begins to shift, the Virginia Living Museum will be transitioning into summer with updated experiences designed to keep students engaged, curious, and exploring.

Our interactive Wild Explorations space will refresh for summer, offering new opportunities for hands-on discovery and seasonal play.
Updated Summer Programming
Educational offerings will evolve for the season, including refreshed keeper talks and changes to our daily programming schedule, giving students new ways to connect with wildlife and conservation.
Planetarium Updates
Our planetarium will introduce a new show as part of the summer lineup, adding an exciting dimension to your visit.
Guests can enjoy FREE planetarium shows during our soft launch weekend, May 23–25, before daily public shows begin June 13 with new $3 tickets. Tickets can only be reserved in person at the museum and are first come, first served.
