Holiday Lights Nature Walk at The Virginia Living Museum (Newport News)

Step into the quiet glow of winter. Stroll our outdoor trails lined with Christmas lights and cheerful seasonal decor. It is a relaxed, self-guided evening made for lingering, taking photos, and soaking up a little more holiday magic together.
Important Details
Location: Outdoor trails only
Indoor access: Lobby, restrooms and Museum Store only. Indoor exhibits are closed for this event.
Weather: Rain or shine. Please check the forecast and dress for the elements.
What to bring: Warm layers, comfortable walking shoes, umbrellas or rain jackets if needed, and your camera.
Know Before You Go
This is a trail-only experience focused on lights and décor.
The evening is self-paced. Arrive any time after 5:30 p.m. and plan your walk to finish by 8:30 p.m.
Strollers and wagons are welcome outdoors.
