Historic Grace Church Veteran’s Day Service at Grace Episcopal Church (Yorktown)

Following the service, attendees will proceed to the churchyard for a brief ceremony that will include the playing of “Taps” and a salute to the 113 known veterans (Revolutionary War, Civil War, World Wars 1 & 2, Cold War, Korean War, and Vietnam) buried in the Grace Cemetery and all deceased men and women who have served our country in uniform. The historic church bell (ca 1725) will then be tolled 21 times as part of the nationwide “Bells of Peace” initiative.
