Hello Groundhog at Newport News Park (Newport News)

Can a groundhog actually forecast the weather? Why do we celebrate this unique tradition this time of the year? Are there other animals that we think can predict the future? Well, whether they can or can’t, we predict that you’ll enjoy learning about the interesting lives of groundhogs – who are known for much more than their weather forecasting abilities.
Burrow your way to the Discovery Center on Saturday, January 31st at 11 AM and 2 PM for our ‘Hello Groundhog’ educational program.
