Guided Bird Walk at Owl Creek Landing (Virginia Beach)
Meet us at 9 a.m. on the OCL bridge for a guided birding and nature adventure! This time of year, millions of feathered travelers are passing through Virginia Beach on their way south, and Owl Creek is one of their favorite rest stops. We’ll watch wading birds hunt for breakfast, listen for morning songbirds, and maybe even catch an osprey or bald eagle diving for fish!
Along the way, you’ll learn how Owl Creek’s unique brackish waters connect to Rudee Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean, creating a thriving food web that supports all this amazing wildlife.
After the walk, stick around and enjoy the rest of Owl Creek Landing when it opens at 10 a.m.—the adventure doesn’t have to end when the tour does!
