Four school boys break open Romeo and Juliet and find a story that feels dangerous, immediate, and entirely their own. As Shakespeare’s words pull them beyond the rules of their world, questions of identity, connection, and courage rise to the surface. Directed by original Off-Broadway cast member Sean Dugan, this production invites audiences to experience transformation in Calarco’s adaptation with the insight and urgency of someone who helped shape its first breath.
