Ring in the New Year before bedtime at The Great Nauticus Snowball Countdown, a magical daytime celebration inside the Kingdom of the Snow Queen. Families are invited to enjoy enchanting entertainment, hands-on activities, festive music, and the biggest winter moment of all — our Noon Countdown followed immediately by Virginia’s largest museum indoor snowball fight!
This one-of-a-kind celebration is perfect for families looking to make unforgettable New Year’s memories together.

Royal Snow Queen Shows — 10AM & 11AM
Cheer, laugh, and enjoy an interactive performance with the Snow Queen herself. Meet-and-greet photo opportunities follow each show (Photogenics packages available).
12PM: The Great Nauticus Snowball Countdown
Join us in the atrium for a magical Noon Countdown full of excitement and winter flair. When the countdown ends, the snowball fun begins — an all-out, family-friendly indoor snowball showdown!
