Grand Illumination Ceremony at Town Center of Virginia Beach (Virginia Beach)

Start the holiday season off at the Town Center Fountain Plaza to welcome ???????? Santa and Mrs. Claus and celebrate the lighting of the Town Center Christmas Tree!
Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive by horse-drawn carriage at 6pm for the lighting of the Town Center Christmas tree! ????
This spectacular tree stands over 40 feet tall with over 5000 lights and ornaments.
An expanded line-up of family-friendly live entertainment in the holiday snow globes will run from 7pm-9pm after the Grand Illumination ceremony!

Kick off the holiday season with us in Town Center of Virginia Beach with the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus and the annual tree lighting ceremony!

5:00 Festivities begin with music and merriment abound
5:15 Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive in a horse drawn sleigh
6:00 Join Santa, Mrs. Claus, and City of Virginia Beach dignitaries for the countdown to light the tree
7:00 Snow Globe Spectacular begins for the holiday season

Santa’s elves will be on hand to pass out holiday treats, including free hot chocolate and goodies from Town Center restaurants while supplies last!

During the Snow Globe Spectacular, starting at 7:00 and continuing through the month of December, you can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus in their own special life-size snow globe! There will also be dancing elves, happy violinists, jubilant tap dancers, and more artists and musicians performing in their own snow globes. This event is free and open to the public. Parking is always free in Town Center!
