Fly, Fly Butterfly at Newport News Park Discovery Center (Newport News)

What comes to mind when you see these colorful, fluttering fliers? Perhaps important pollinators for wildflowers and other plants? Or is it the truly astonishing transformation they undergo from a caterpillar? How about some of them performing fairly long-distance migrations? Whatever you may already know about these interesting insects – I bet there is still plenty more that we can tell you about them.
Join us on Saturday, June 6th at 11 AM and 2 PM for our ‘Fly, Fly Butterfly’ educational program at the Discovery Center in Newport News Park.
