Fascinating Fishes at Newport News Park (Newport News)

Have you ever wondered what fish are swimming in our reservoirs? Come to the Discovery Center for an introduction on some of the most popular game fishes that live in the 230-acre Lee Hall Reservoir. Learn about the life history, habitat, and identifying characteristics of fish species such as largemouth bass, black crappie, and bluegill.
Program Type: Presentation – Note: This is not a How-To-Fish program.
Age Recommendation: Recommended Ages 5+
Join us for a free educational presentation on the ‘Fascinating Fishes’ of Newport News Park! This program will take place at the Newport News Park Discovery Center on Saturday, February 21st at 11 AM and 2 PM.
