Family Workshop on Duchenne’s Disease (Norfolk)

Family Workshops are our national educational program that brings together clinicians, researchers, and families affected by Duchenne to learn about care, crucial information, and resources in many cities each year.
Darlene Cowcer, BSRRTA, is registered respiratory therapist who graduated over 40 years ago with a concentration in management and education. She has worked in many aspects of respiratory care during her career including emergency, critical care, and pulmonary rehab. The last 20 years, she has served as supervisor of the Pulmonary Function Lab at the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia. This included roles in outpatient clinics for Cystic fibrosis and Neuromuscular clinics.
